A detailed programme for the conference ‘Learning to Live in a Multicultural World. Fundamental Rights and Multiculturalism in Europe’, which will take place from 2 – 7 July in Caux, is now available.

South African channel TV1 came to Sir Pierre van Reyneveldt School, Kempton Park (outside Johannesburg) to film an interactive session between the Gandhi travelling team and students from three high schools.

"You have written this book at a time of sharp polarization, characterized by deep divides,” said Tim Kaine the former governor of Virginia at the launch of Rob Corcoran’s book, Trustbuilding: an honest conversation on race, reconciliation, and responsibility on March 15.

Rob Corcoran, author of Trustbuilding, spoke at the Conflict Prevention and Resolution Forum at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University on March 9. He joined fellow panelists David Campt, a nationally recognized race relations consultant, and Jana Carter of Search for Common Ground to discuss "Conflict in Our Own Backyard: Prospects for Racial Reconciliation."

Rob Lancaster from Canberra, Australia, has been accompanying Rajmohan Gandhi on his Voyage of dialogue and discovery. Their visit to Indonesia coincided with the historic address of Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to the Australian Parliament, signaling a new phase in the relationship between the two countries.

The major Indonesian daily newspaper Republika reported on Rajmohan Gandhi's speech to the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr Hamka (Uhamka) Jakarta, Thursday 11 March. Professor Rajmohan Gandhi, President of Intiatives of Change International, is on a ‘Voyage of Dialogue and Discovery’, which began last week in Jakarta. The journey will take Gandhi, his wife Usha, and teams accompanying them to countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle-East, Europe and the Americas, in his words, ‘with a hope for honest dialogue and a desire for collaboration’.

The Gandhi ‘Voyage of Dialogue and Discovery’, began last week in Jakarta, Indonesia. The journey will take Professor Gandhi, President of IofC International, his wife Usha, and teams accompanying them to countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle-East, Europe and the Americas, in his words, ‘with a hope for honest dialogue and a desire for collaboration’. The Gandhi team visited the African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg this morning. The Dean welcomed us and we were shown around the impressive campus.
