John Bond, Coordinator of the Caux Forum for Human Security, opened a discussion on the topic of 'Natural Resources and the future - coordination or cooperation?' at Kiev Security Forum on 18th April, 2013.

More than 70 Americans from 12 states are expected to attend the Healing History: Overcoming Racism, Seeking Equity, Building Community conference in Caux, Switzerland. The US group will exchange experiences with many others from regions across the globe where unhealed racial history and discrimination are obstacles to building healthy communities.

Juliana Nakhumicha and Annie Gitu, travelled to Mbuyu, a small village close to Nanyuki, to facilitate a Creators of Peace Circles (CoPC) workshop for 15 women from 15-17 April, 2013. The workshop had been repeatedly requested by a lady who had participated in one of the Peace Circles last year and she wanted her women to experience what she had experienced, i.e. - inner healing and peace.

The Caux Artists Program is seeking singers, actor/singers and singer/instrumentalists who have a vested interest in exploring the power of art as a catalyst for change in society, while at the same time strengthening their artistic skill and vision. CAP is an interdisciplinary summer course in vocal music, music theatre and the humanities and will take place from 29 June - 11 July, 2013 at the Initiatives of Change (IofC) International conference centre in Caux, Switzerland, 1000m above Montreux, Lake Geneva.

Being involved with Initiatives of Change (IofC) has not only been an experience but a journey of learning and gaining so much good. It’s been years of personal development in terms of integrity and moral values. Zachariah Muturi, a young Kenyan shares his experience with IofC.

On May 11 'Oratorio for our Times' was performed in Lille cathedral, the largest city in northern France, on the occasion of the Night of Cathedrals. 

What was initially a dream became a reality on Saturday 13 April, when 25 young Nigerian professionals and change-makers in their respective communities gathered at the Initiatives of Change (IofC) Nigeria centre in Lagos to learn about the work of IofC and to sharpen their networking skills. The forum was tagged: Army of Change Makers.

In Juba, we woke to the steady hum of a generator, the slow sweeping of a brush cleaning the patio of our small hotel and the chatter of Al Jazeera TV from that same patio. We had been invited to take part in an April conference in Juba that was to start a five-year journey of healing and reconciliation in South Sudan.
