Asia Plateau 40th Anniversary Celebrations
For 40 years, Asia Plateau, the IofC Asian centre in Panchgani, India, has motivated thousands to transform their own lives for the greater good, with a ripple effect around them. 250 people from 32 countries attended the celebration from 15-21 January to seek "What is the heightened role that Asia Plateau can play in today's fast-changing, threatened world? How can we help fulfil Asia Plateau's vision of a cleaner, calmer and fairer world?"

15 January: Opening session at 4.30 pm
16-18 January: A time for celebrating and evaluating all that has grown in the lives of those touched by Asia Plateau: people from India's North-East, participants of industrial leadership programmes, the creation of Song of Asia theatre
production, the Dialogues on Development, youth camps year after year, educators, health professionals, and now social entrepreneurs, bureaucrats and business leaders, Action for Life, and much moreā¦

19 January: 'Outreach to the world around us' - highlighting Initiatives of Change programmes from India and many nations. A space to exchange ideas and methods. New initiatives are emerging: movements for 'rural transformation', better governance, environmental learning, and many more...
20 January: The anniversary of the opening of Asia Plateau. The Centre was open to all, with a blend of ceremony, seminars, events and entertainment.
21 January: Concluding with a focus on the future, shaping a vision for Asia Plateau's heightened role and how to make it happen.
