ICCFG Coimbatore was formally inaugurated in August 2008. It had its genesis in a vision nurtured by B.Baskar a social activist. He and his core team members comprising of Dr.Selvraraj and Prabhakaran soon realised the need for more bonding, coalescing together as a vibrant unit.
They were convinced that much can be achieved but also certain that a team needs to come into being before goals can be pursued.
The objectives for the Center were to develop a vision, generate a pool of resource persons for programs, and inspire members to make IofC ideas the foundation for all future activities.
Kiran Gandhi, Seenu Iyengar, Kartik Dore & P.A.Viswnaathan, seasoned with experience and years in facilitation, guided the process and primed the direction for the workshop.

Sankar Jadhav a trained consultant from the Institute of Cultural Affairs has a unique method of facilitating participative management.
He was specially invited for the workshop for his skills and understanding of human interactions in a dynamic environment.
